Should I declare bankruptcy after a Chicago foreclosure?

After the recession in the United States the terms ‘bankruptcy’ seems to be the only option available for all the people who had there share of blow from the market crumbling. There is this common question which appears in the mind ‘Should I declare bankruptcy to negate foreclosure?’, ‘Is this the only solution out of the mess?’

This article aims to clarify those questions. There are some additional requirements a person must sail through before or after declaring a bankruptcy. If the person is not able to repay the loan and the pressure from the lender’s side is mounting, you can consider bankruptcy as an option to stall i.e. try to avoid.

There is a law which states that anyone who is planning to declare a bankruptcy needs to take a CCC (credit counseling course) for a period of approximately 3 months (180 days) before declaring such a situation. The real problem arises if the person involved in the problem is facing immediate foreclosure of their property. In that case there is an immediate need to declare bankruptcy.

The only solution you can find is that you can opt for something like a crash course (for the lack of a better word). You will be allowed to do a 30 days CCC after declaring bankruptcy. There are lots of sites on the internet which will help you to stall this foreclosure option. A detailed knowledge on the chapters on bankruptcy will help you a lot. Specifically chapter 13 and chapter 7 on the bankruptcy law will help you the most.
